GICC Teachers John & Cathy Howard Set To Retire

(Grand Island, NE) - The days are dwindling as full-time educators for Grand Island Central Catholic teachers John and Cathy Howard. The husband and wife duo have been teaching at GICC for a combined 88 years. Each of them has a total of 47 years total in education. Cathy has spent her whole career at her alma mater, while John started teaching in Callaway. This August the two will have been married for 40 years. Cathy has always taught English, John has been a World and American history teacher.
