Eviction Case Against GI Veteran Continued
Tuesday, we brought you the story of veterans coming together in support of Jack Wilson, a 92 year old WWII Vetran being evicted from his home of more than 10 years at Grand Island’s Regency Retirement.
Those in support of Wilson say the eviction was given without warning or notice and were preparing to show their support of Wilson, Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday morning the eviction hearing was ordered continued. The reason?
Two different attorney’s showed up, claiming to represent the board of Regency Retirement.
One board stating they object to the eviction of Mr. Wilson, and have also fired Director Peg Marsh
The other board objected to the continuance and wished to proceed with the hearing.
The judge decided to grant the continuance to allow both parties time to sort out the matters.
The case will be continued January 28th at 9am
