Methamphetamine arrest in Grand Island Sunday
(Grand Island, NE) - Sunday, July 24th at 12:40 am Grand Island Police officers observed a black Cadillac with no plates and were unable to see in
transits, south on Vine St N from 17th St E. A traffic stop was conducted and Erin Malone was identified as the driver and Seth Hansen was identified as the passenger. A K9 sniff of the vehicle indicated there was probable cause to search the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, a small portable scale and small individual baggies with drug graphics were located on Hansen's floorboard. A search of a backpack with male's clothing located more drug
paraphernalia. A search of Hansen located methamphetamine (1.1grams) in his pocket. A search of Malone then located methamphetamine (23.5grams and 1.1grams) concealed on her person. Malone admitted to hiding the controlled substance on her person at Hansen's direction, concealing it with the intent to impair its locating. Hansen was found to possess money used or intended to be used to facilitate the distribution or delivery of a controlled substance. He was also found to have possessed 7 or more grams of a controlled substance, sold by weight, without paying the tax, evidenced by an official stamp or label. Malone was found to have transported and assisted in Hansen's delivering and distributing a controlled substance.
Seth Hansen was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine of 10-27 Grams Tampering with Physical Evidence, Money and Controlled Substance, Drug Dealer Tax, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Erin Malone was arrested for Aiding and Abetting ID Felony
