(Grand Island, NE) - On Friday, March 10th, Grand Island Police were dispatched to 1230 North Webb Road at 5:00 pm. Upon arrival, GIPD discovered that Samantha Schultz entered the Walgreens location on Webb Road where she informed cashiers that a male with a gun came into the store and was threatening to kill her. Schultz then went to the break room where she locked herself in and began destroying property. Due to Schultz's terrorizing claims, the store was evacuated including the four Walgreens employees. Schultz claimed that a male had a gun in the store with her. That was discovered as false after a thorough investigation. Schultz admitted that she had recently used Meth and Fentanyl, and officers observed her to be under the influence of these drugs while at Walgreens. She was then placed under arrest for Terroristic Threats x4, Criminal Mischief $1500-4999, False Reporting, and Unlawful Acts Relating to Drugs.
