Aurora Baseball Falls to AC
Adams Central rallied from an early deficit for a 10-2 win over Aurora. The Patriots (15-6) have scored double figures in 13 of their wins.
The Huskies (5-13) scored two runs on four hits in the first and held the lead until the fourth. Adams Central scored four in the fourth and five in the fifth to put the game away. The Patriots took advantage of seven walks, four hit batsmen and four errors in the game.
Aurora right hander Dylan Ronnau worked three strong innings, but gave up a pair of walks and an infield single in the fourth. He age up four runs to take the loss. Jack Carstensen worked 1.1 innings. Kyson Phillips finished up striking out five in 1.2 innings.
Tate Bendorf went 2-3 and knocked in a run. Keegan White also had two hits for the Huskies.
Owen Brown worked the first four innings and struck out seven for Adams Central. Parker Hodgen went 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
