Aurora BB Splits at Beatrice

The Beatrice girls broke open a tie game after the first quarter for a 48-30 win over Aurora on Saturday. After scoring 15 points in the first quarter the Huskies managed only 15 more points the final three quarters. Kaitlyn Staehr scored a career high 19 points in the loss.

The Aurora boys never trailed in a 66-47 win over the Orangemen. Cannon Allen scored 16 of his career high 23 in the second quarter as the Huskies built an 11 point halftime lead. Ryan Staehr tied a career high with 18 and Jaxson Slagle added 15.
