Aurora GBB Falls in Central Conference Semis

A slow start doomed the Aurora girls to a 42-36 loss to Crete in the semis of the Central Conference Tournament. The Huskies shot 15 percent from the field in the first half and trailed by as many as 16. Aurora rallied to tie the game at 36 with under three  minutes to go but didn't score the rest of the way. 

Vivi Fahrnbruch scored a season high 13 and hit the game tying three pointer for the Huskies.

Aurora plays Northwest for third place at 1pm today at Adams Central. Crete meets York for the title at 5pm. Next coverage of Aurora girls' basketball will be at Waverly on Friday 2/6.
