Buffalo County America 250 Celebration Announces Inclement Weather Plan for Fireworks Display

The Buffalo County America 250 Event Committee has announced its inclement weather contingency plan for the community fireworks display scheduled as part of the Buffalo County America 250 Celebration.

If severe weather or unsafe conditions impact the evening of Saturday, July 4, the fireworks display will be postponed until Sunday, July 5.

The safety of attendees, volunteers, vendors, performers, and event staff remains the committee's highest priority. Event organizers will closely monitor weather conditions leading up to and throughout the celebration and will make any necessary decisions in consultation with public safety officials.

Should the fireworks need to be postponed, updates will be shared as soon as possible through the official Buffalo County America 250 and Buffalo County Fairgrounds social media channels.
