Cats Take Down Huskies
St. Paul/Palmer scored in every inning in a 13-3 win over Aurora on Thursday. The Cats (8-9) only outhit the Huskies 8-6, but took advance of nine walks. Mason Majerus went the distance and struck out seven. Braxton Heater hit a grand slam. Alex Meinecke was 2-2, doubled, knocked in one, and scored three times. Layne Baker was 2-2 with a double, two runs batted in and a run scored.
Six different players had hits for Aurora (5-14). Dylan Ronnau and Tate Bendorf had the RBI. Jack Carstensen, Wyatt Pollett and Knox Suchanek scored.
