CHI Health Good Samaritan Safe Kids Day–April 16
KEARNEY, NE- CHI Health Good Samaritan, in conjunction with Safe Kids Platte Valley, invites the community to Safe Kids Day from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, April 16 at the Kearney Area Children’s Museum. Admission to the museum is FREE from 4 to 7 pm compliments of the hospital.
The annual event celebrates children and focuses on injury prevention, equipping families for a safe summer. Beyond the museum's permanent exhibits, the day offers interactive displays that teach families about safety at home, on the road and during recreational activities. A special feature allows children to meet real-life Good Samaritan EMS personnel and explore an ambulance.
Attendees can also enjoy a FREE hotdog meal, available while supplies last.
“In the ER, we see firsthand the devastating impact of childhood injuries. Prevention is key,” says Tracy Rademacher, trauma prevention, CHI Health Good Samaritan. “From water safety to sun protection, and all that comes between. Let’s have fun while building a safer summer together!”
