CHI Health Provides FREE Future Planning During National ‘Make a Will’ Month

KEARNEY and GRAND ISLAND — In observance of national “Make a Will” month, CHI Health Good Samaritan and CHI Health St. Francis are encouraging the community to create estate plans, ensuring their personal and healthcare wishes are clearly documented. To simplify the process, both hospital foundations provide FREE and secure access to an online platform that walks users through preparing vital legal paperwork — such as advance directives and wills — at no cost. 

“I know planning for the future can seem costly, complex and even daunting. That’s why it’s important for us to offer this completely free and easy way for our community to have a legal will and advance directive,” says Cindi Richter, director, CHI Health Good Samaritan Foundation. “More than the free legal documents, we hope to further provide protection and peace of mind to those we serve.”

Users are also invited to consider a legacy gift as part of the process, offering a meaningful opportunity to support a cause or service that has impacted their lives.
