City of St. Paul/Howard County Commisioners to Hold Special Meeting August 4th.
The City of St. Paul Facebook Page has published a notice on that there will be a special meeting between the St. Paul City Council and Howard County Commissioners to discuss options for law enforcement between the two law enforcement agencies.
This comes after a discussion was held at the last city council meeting following a presentation by Chief Deputy Paul Tartaglia about potentially merging the remaining two police officers of St. Paul into the Howard County Sheriff's Office following the resignation of Police Chief Dan Howard whose last day in the office was on July 17th.
The meeting will be held at the St. Paul Civic Center on Tuesday, August 4th at 6:30 PM and is open to the public. All interested are invited and will be given an opportunity to present testimony, comments or objections.
