Creighton Men’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

OMAHA, Neb. – New series with Gonzaga and Kansas State, three games in Las Vegas at the Players Era Men's Championship, and a road game at Nebraska highlight the 2025-26 non-conference schedule for Creighton Men's Basketball.

Creighton will play a pair of home exhibition games against Division I teams this season, hosting Iowa State on Oct. 17 and Colorado State on Oct. 25. Both teams won a game in the NCAA Tournament last season.

The regular-season opens on Wednesday, Nov. 5, with a home game against South Dakota. Creighton is 33-1 all-time at home against the Coyotes, including a double-overtime win in 2014 the last time the teams met.

Creighton's first road game is a stiff test at Gonzaga on Nov. 11. Creighton leads the all-time series 6-5, but the Bulldogs have won the last three meetings including a 2021 Sweet 16 match-up in Indianaplis.

The Bluejays return home to host Maryland Eastern Shore (Nov. 14) and North Dakota (Nov. 19). CU won the only previous match-up against the Hawks in 2017 and are 11-3 all-time against North Dakota.

Creighton closes November with three games in Las Vegas, Nev., at the Players Era Men's Championship. CU meets Baylor (Nov. 24) and Iowa State (Nov. 25) inside Michelob ULTRA Arena, and will play a third game on either Nov. 26 or Nov. 27 against an opponent and in a venue to be determined after Tuesday's action concludes.

The Bluejays start December on Dec. 2 with a home game against Nicholls State, the first time the Bluejays have ever faced the Colonels.

Creighton's final non-conference road game comes Dec. 7 at Nebraska.  The series against the Cornhuskers has been played at least once each season since 1977.

Non-conference play concludes with home tilts against Kansas State (Dec. 13) and Utah Tech (Dec. 22).  The Bluejays have not hosted K-State since 1987, and have never played Utah Tech.

The 20-game conference schedule for Creighton's 13th season in the BIG EAST is expected to be released in September. The 2026 BIG EAST Tournament is scheduled for March 11-14 and will once again be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
