Creighton Men’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

OMAHA, Neb. – Home games against Nebraska and Gonzaga, a road trip to Kansas State, and at least four high-profile neutral-site games highlight Creighton Men's Basketball's challenging 2026-27 non-conference schedule.

Fans can get their first glimpse at new head coach Alan Huss' initial team during exhibitions at Iowa State (Oct. 18) and at home against Minnesota (Oct. 23).

The 2026-27 regular-season gets underway on Nov. 2 with a home game against Kansas City, the earliest start by date to a season in program history. Three days later the Bluejays meet Le Moyne for the first time, also inside CHI Health Center Omaha.

The Bluejays will pay their first visit to Kansas State in 40 years on Nov. 10 in its regular-season road opener in Manhattan, Kan., then trek to Des Moines for a previously-announced neutral-site match-up against Iowa five days later on Nov. 15.

Creighton closes the month of November with a trip to Las Vegas for the Players Era 16. The Bluejays open bracket play at T-Mobile Arena with a Nov. 24 contest versus defending national champion Michigan. CU meets either TCU or Miami (Fla.) two days later, and plays its third game in four days on Nov. 27 against either Gonzaga, Kansas State, Baylor or Alabama.

Should Creighton win each of its first three games in Las Vegas, the Bluejays would also play in the Players Era 16 title game on Nov. 28th.

Four December home games close out non-conference play.  The Bluejays welcome Oral Roberts on Dec. 1, then host Nebraska on Dec. 5. Gonzaga returns to CHI Health Center Omaha on Dec. 12 before Creighton wraps up its preseason on Dec. 18 against Mount St. Mary's.

The BIG EAST Tournament, Presented by JEEP, will take place on March 10-13 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
