Creighton Volleyball Ready For Big East Tournament

(Omaha, NE) - The postseason beckons for No. 5 Creighton as the 11-time defending BIG EAST regular-season champion Bluejays host the BIG EAST Championship, Presented by JEEP, this week.
    Expanded to six teams in 2022, the tournament gets underway on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 2:30 p.m. when fourth-seeded DePaul (18-12, 10-8 BIG EAST) takes on fifth-seeded St. John's (21-11, 10-8 BIG EAST).
    The second quarterfinal will take place at 5 p.m. on Wednesday when third-seeded Connecticut (24-6, 12-6 BIG EAST) squares off with sixth-seeded Villanova (16-13, 9-9 BIG EAST).
    After taking a day off for Thanksgiving, play resumes on Friday at 2:30 p.m. when top-seeded Creighton (27-2, 18-0 BIG EAST) hosts the winner of Wednesday's 2:30 p.m. quarterfinal between DePaul and St. John's.
    Second-seeded Marquette (22-7, 16-2 BIG EAST hits the floor on Friday at 5 p.m. when it takes on the victor of Wednesday's 5 p.m. quarterfinal between Connecticut and Villanova.
    The final will take place on Saturday at 5 p.m. between the semifinal winners, with an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament up for grabs.
    D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha, Neb., will host the BIG EAST Tournament for the sixth time.

Broadcast Information
Creighton's semifinal on Friday will be streamed on FloSports and be broadcasted by Jon Schriner and Shannon Smolinski.
