Crete edges Aurora Baseball in the Eighth

Pinch hitter Wyatt Vorderstrasse singled home Landry Kuntz in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Crete a 2-1 win over Aurora in the last road game of the regular season for the Huskies. 

Aurora scored a run on three hits in the first.  Wyatt Pollett doubled and later scored the run on an error. Crete tied it in the third.

Dylan Ronnau worked seven innings for the Huskies, allowing one unearned run on five hits. He also went 2-4 at the plate.

Aurora hosts Raymond Central in the regular season finale on Monday. The Huskies open C-3 District play on Thursday at Central City-Centura with pregame coverage at 1:45 on 97.3 the Wolf.
