Crusaders Cruise Past Lakeview SB

Winning pitcher Emily Price set to go against Lakeview

The Grand Island Central Catholic Softball team got off to a hot start and cruised past Columbus Lakeview 12-3 in the season opener on Thursday.  Kendall Posey smashed a two-run homer as part of a three-run first. The Crusaders added six runs on four hits in the second. Jocelynn Price went 3-4, knocked in three and scored twice. Paige Dvorak and Dre Van Winkle each had two hits.

Winning pitcher Emily Price also singled twice and knocked in two. She fired a two hitter and struck out four.
