Crusaders Wrap Up State Tennis

(Lincoln, NE) - The GICC boys tennis team wrapped up state tennis in Lincoln on Tuesday. The Crusaders' number two doubles team (Khale Lindiman & Dawson Urbanski) finished in 5th place. GICC's number one doubles team (Aaron Mack & Atticus Vance) had an 8th-place finish. Other participants for the Crusaders included Alec Menaugh in the number one singles (Won first match 8-2 vs Holdrege, lost second match vs Brownell Talbot 5, 6-0. Joao Salamao participated in the number two singles (Won first match 8-5 over Lincoln Christian. Lost second match vs Lincoln Standing Bear 6-2, 6-1. GICC in the team standings would finish 9th with 18.5 points. Mt Michael would be the overall Class B state champions.
