Dangerously Cold Weather Coming

Near Critical fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon for areas mainly west of Highway 281..

Dangerously cold weather moves into the area Thursday night and continues throughout the weekend. Wind Chill values of -15 to -25 degrees are possible Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. Wind Chill values may not climb above zero Friday or Saturday. 

Light snow is possible across the area on Friday and Saturday, most likely for areas along and south of the Nebraska-Kansas border.
