Fatality Accident in Garfield County

July 26, 2026 at approximately 0924 hours , Emergency Services were notified and responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident involving several injuries and 1 unresponsive individual. Upon arrival, first responders located; Todd Richardson 63 of Sinton, Texas, deceased. Immediate family members have been notified. The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol are continuing the investigation into the accident. No additional information is being released at this time pending completion of the investigation.
