Four new members join St. Francis Foundation Board

Grand Island, NE- CHI Health St. Francis Foundation recently welcomed four new members to its Board of Directors. New board members Joe Grabowski, Ed Jarosik, Chris Ladwig and Butch Moural began their 3-year term at the beginning of the hospital’s fiscal year 2025. 

Active in the community, the new members are employed in the Grand Island area–Grabowski, Western National Bank-Cairo; Jarosik, Gateway Mortgage-Grand Island; Ladwig, Grand Island Senior High; and Moural, Pinnacle Bank-Aurora. 

They join current board members Todd Bartek, Brad Bell, Megan Goplin, Stephen Knudsen, Morganne Manivong, Jodi Rauert, Darcy Ray, Dr. Riley Santin, Darren Sanchez, Brayden Snell, Regina Somer and Adriane Washburn.

The St. Francis Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created to support the work of St. Francis, whose mission is to encourage a healthy community by providing health education programs, informational services, and quality medical care without regard to race, religion, age, sex, or ability to pay. The purpose of the Foundation is to seek, acquire, and manage funds contributed from public and private sources to support those programs and projects determined to be in accord with the mission of St. Francis. Such programs or services may be administered by St. Francis’s own medical or administrative professionals or in collaboration with other community agencies of compatible purpose.

 

More about Joe Grabowski

Joe Grabowski works at Western National Bank-Cairo Branch. Previously, he worked at Pathway Bank (formerly known as The State Bank of Cairo) for more than 36 years. He was born, raised and continues to reside in Cairo. Grabowski has been actively  involved with Cairo Fire/EMS, Cairo Village Board, Cairo Comm Foundation, Centura Educational Foundation, Hall County Merit Commission, United Way, and Leadership Unlimited. He and his wife, Teresa, have two children. Grabowski enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, traveling with family and friends, and spending time with family at their cabin.

More about Ed Jarosik

Ed Jarosik is the Mortgage Sales Manager/Branch Manager for Gateway Mortgage in Grand Island. He has resided in Grand Island since 1995. Jarosik is a graduate of Hall County Leadership Tomorrow Class 21, has been a past board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Community Youth Council, and a past Team Leader for the Grand Island Chamber Ambassadors. He is married to Shannon and has two step-children. Jarosik enjoys spending time at the lake with family, boating, golfing, hunting, and fishing.

More about Chris Ladwig

Ladwig was recently named Activities Director at Grand Island Senior High. He has been the Assistant Activities Director and teacher within Grand Island Public Schools since 2011. Ladwig has been actively involved with the NSAA, USA Softball, and other organizations throughout the state, including coaching within many youth organizations in Grand Island. He and his wife, Stacy, have three children. Ladwig enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially watching his children in all their activities. 

More about Butch Moural

Moural was named Mortgage Loan Officer with Pinnacle Bank-Aurora Branch in February. Previously, he served as a mortgage lender with FNBO in Grand Island for 19 years. Moural has lived in Grand Island since 1999. He has been actively involved with Leadership Unlimited, Habitat for Humanity, and downtown boards. He and his wife, Tina, have a blended family of six children and five grandchildren. Moural enjoys spending time with family, hunting, fishing, boating and hiking.
