Frahm, Kuszak Earn D1 Softball Awards

Nebraska softball rising seniors Jordyn Frahm and Ava Kuszak were both recognized by D1 Softball.
Frahm was No. 2 on the D100 Overall Players List and was the second-ranked pitcher and two-way player going into 2026. Kuszak was tabbed the No. 24 overall player and the fourth-ranked shortstop.
Frahm was the 2025 NFCA Player of the Year and a First-Team All-American and was a finalist for the Honda Award for Softball and the USA Softball Player of the Year award. Kuszak was an All-Big Ten and NFCA All-Mountain region first-team honoree last year.
Nebraska will open its season on Friday, Feb. 6 against Washington at the UTSA Invitational in San Antonio, Texas. The game is set to start at 1:05 p.m. (CT).
