General Surgeon Dr. Freese joins St. Francis
GRAND ISLAND — CHI Health Clinic General Surgery (Grand Island) welcomes Mikayla Freese, MD, board-certified general surgeon, to its staff.
With extensive training in general and trauma surgery, Dr. Freese specializes in diagnosing, treating and managing a wide range of general surgery conditions, including critical and life-threatening injuries. She also brings specialized expertise in robot-assisted, minimally invasive surgical procedures.
Dr. Freese earned her medical degree from University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Iowa City, Iowa. She then completed a general surgical residency at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Iowa City, Iowa, followed by a trauma surgery fellowship at Auckland City Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand.
Dr. Freese joins board-certified general surgeon Dr. Zhan Li, MD.
