GI Home Federal Runs Away From Kearney, 8-0

The bottom of the lineup helped Grand Island Home Federal Bank capture an 8-0 victory over Kearney Pinnacle Bank  on Tuesday at TBD. Brody Davidson, Brock Cushing, and Carson Washburn combined for six of the team's 12 hits in the victory. They scored two runs and drove in three.

A single by Gavin Ruether on an 0-2 count put Grand Island Home Federal Bank on the board in the top of the first.

A sacrifice fly by Gabe Ruiz extended the Grand Island Home Federal Bank lead to 2-0 in the top of the third inning.

Grayson Sack earned the win for Grand Island Home Federal Bank. The hurler allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out two and walking two. Cole Rehtus took the loss for Kearney Pinnacle Bank . The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering five runs on nine hits, striking out three and walking one.
