Offender: Ramon Menbreno

Location of Incident: 703 S Lincoln Ave; Apt D
Brief Narrative: On 10/27/2024 around 2328 hrs, officers were detailed to the area of Lincoln Ave and Anna St for a suspicious male. Ramon Menbreno was trespassing on another person's property and disturbed the peace and quiet of another individual. Ramon did not comply with lawful orders from police officers and actively resisted arrest from officers. Ramon then struck an officer while resisting. Ramon was taken to HCDC and booked in for 3rd Degree Assault on Officer, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing a Peace Officer, 2nd Degree Trespassing, and Disturbing the Peace and Quiet.

Brief Narrative: On 10/27/2024 at 2102 hrs, officers, responded to 2620 Faidley Ave W; CHI Saint Francis; Rm 11 for a reported assault call for service. Victim reported that she was assaulted. Case is open.

Date and Time of Incident: between 9/1/24 & 10/27/24
Location of Incident: W Capital Ave & Sheridan Ave
Brief Narrative: On 10-27-2024 at approximately 12:52 hours a hit and run was dispatched to the area of Capital Ave and Sheridan Ave. where one of the vehicles involved had an open title and no proof of purchasing documentation. Investigation is ongoing.

Location of Incident: Old Potash Hwy & US Hwy 281 S
Brief Narrative: Two vehicles were observed racing at a high rate of speed westbound on Highway 30 from Old Fair Road. A traffic stop was attempted on one of the vehicles which fled from officers in a reckless manner while there were other motorist on the roadway. This case is open.

Location of Incident: 2323 Bellwood Dr; #119
Brief Narrative: On 10-27-2024 at approximately 09:50 hours a theft of a vehicle call was dispatched to 2323 Bellwood Dr #119 where four unknown individuals attempted to steal a 2020 Hyundai Sonata from the driveway. The owner of the vehicle noticed the suspects and chased them away.
