Offender: Malorie Rogers & Brett Dahmer

Location of Incident: 1020 W John St
Brief Narrative: Officers contacted the residents of 1020 W John St for an unrelated investigation. During the contact, officers observed the strong odor of marijuana emitting from the residence. Officers served a search warrant on the residence, and located .4 grams of methamphetamine, prescription medication and drug paraphernalia. Malorie Rogers was hidden in the basement and pulled away from officers when attempting to place her into custody. She was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest. Dahmer lied to officers about Rogers’ whereabouts and was arrested for False Reporting. Two minor children in the residence were placed in a 48-hour hold, and turned over to the care of DHHS.

Offender: Mathew Williams

Brief Narrative: GIPD Officers responded to a disturbance call for service later turned into a domestic assault in Grand Island, NE. A female reported her boyfriend, Mathew Williams, the father of their child in common, caused injuries to her face, arm and back. The female reported Mathew pushed her down, got on top of her and punched her repeatedly in the face. Additionally, Mathew put his hand over her face, which she reported she could not breathe. She advised while holding their child, Mathew hit her. Officers observed the female's face to have bruising on her lower right cheek, bruising to her left tricep and upper left scapula. Officers would locate Mathew at their house and place him into custody for Assault by Strangulation or Suffocation, 3rd Degree Domestic Assault and Negligent Child Abuse.

Offender: Hector Tarango and Gabrielle Jones-Williams

Brief Narrative: Hector Tarango and Gabrielle Jones-Williams were residents, who were contacted during the execution of a search and seizure warrant, regarding a Humane Society matter. During the execution of the warrant, Marijuana was found in plain sight. Officers then assisted Probation with a thorough search of the residence based upon a search clause related to Gabrielle's current probation order, which resulted in locating multiple containers of Methamphetamine and Marijuana. A total amount of 78.4gm of Marijuana and 5.6gm of Methamphetamine were found within the residence. A scale, plastic bags, and money were found near the drugs and determine to be related to the intent to distribute drugs. Inside the home, animal feces and urine saturated the walking surfaces, and at least two stray cats and several other house pets were living inside. The two small children living inside the home (present at the time of this investigation) were able to easily access the area where drugs were found, which allowed for an opportunity where a child could accidentally be poisoned. There were three additional older school age children not at the residence who were also taken into 48 Hour Hold along with the two young children at the residence. The residence was determined to be unsanitary and unsafe for a child.  Gabrielle Williams, arrested for Child Abuse, Possession of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Brief Narrative: Party came to the police station and reported that they were deceived by an unknown party on a social media app into sending them a Total of $95000 in cash and gift cards.

Offense: Terroristic Threats

Location of Incident: 811 S 2nd St
Brief Narrative: On 01/31/24, a disturbance occurred about roughly 3 weeks ago at Marisco's Villarreal Restaurant. The owners reported a female wearing metal facemask entered the restaurant holding a pair of scissors. The suspect approached the three customers and pointed her scissors towards one of them in a threatening manner. Restaurant owners were able to calm the suspect and take the scissors away.
