Offense: Assault on a Police Officer
Victim: 26 year old female Incident #: L24020162
Offender: Maresy Rabanales Estrada
Date and Time of Incident: 2/3/24 @ 01:44
Location of Incident: 1404 W 2nd St
Brief Narrative: On 02/03/2024 while patrolling the area of 1404 W 2nd street; Casey's, officers observed a female outside the store who was standing by several parked cars and was crying hysterically and yelling. The female would be causing a scene at the store and officers would be flagged down by a bystander. Officers would contact the female and would know and recognize her to be Maresy Rabanales Estrada from prior contacts. Maresy would have the odor of alcohol emitting from her person and she would be stumbling. Officers would give Maresy several commands to sit down and to not touch officers. Maresy would refuse to listen officer’s demands and would be belligerent. While talking to Maresy, she would kick an Officer in their leg causing discomfort. Officers would attempt to place Maresy in handcuffs and while doing so, she would pull away and would refuse to place her hands behind her back. Maresy Rabanales Estrada was arrested for Assault Officer 3rd Degree, Resisting Arrest (1st), and Obstruct Police.

Offense: Child Abuse
Victim: 15 year old female, 14 year old female Incident #: L24020158
Offender: Michaela Cassell
Date and Time of Incident: 2/2/24 @ 22:30
Location of Incident: 2623 Forrest St
Brief Narrative: On 02/03/2024, Officers would respond to 1623 Forrest St in reference to a female refusing to leave the homeowners residence. Officers would arrive and make contact with the female who was verbally identified Michaela Cassell. Michaela would be confrontational with Officers and the reporting party. An Officer would go downstairs and speak with her children. Michaela would follow and continually interrupt Officers and would obstruct their investigation. Michaela would then be placed under arrest. An Officer would advise that her two daughters had reported that the youngest was struck by Michela multiple times with a closed and open fist. The oldest would witness and be present during the altercation. Michaela Cassell was referred for Obstruct a Peace Officer, Negligent Child Abuse and Commit Child Abuse Intentional/No Injury.

Victim: 64 year old male Incident #: L24020177

Location of Incident: 112 W 2nd St
Brief Narrative: An adult male reported that his vehicle key was possibly stolen on January 27th. On February 2nd, his 2006 silver Honda CRV was stolen around 2330 by two unidentified Individuals. The vehicle contained $2200 of Milwaukee power tools, which were also stolen.

Offense: Vehicle Theft
Victim: 43 year old male Incident #: L24020187
Date and Time of Incident: between 2/2/24 & 2/3/24
Location of Incident: 3763 W Capital Ave Bldg N
Brief Narrative: Victim reported the theft of his vehicle. The victim estimated the vehicle value at $2,500.00. The vehicle was being driven by the victim’s son at the time of the theft.

Offense: Domestic Assault
Victim: 59 year old female Incident #: L24020244
Offender: Christopher Brummond

Location of Incident: 604 White Ave
Brief Narrative: Victim reports an ex-boyfriend slapped her face causing her pain. She also reports he took her phone. He was later located and arrested. A criminal history indicated Christopher has a prior conviction for domestic assault. Christopher Brummond was arrested for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault (w/ prior conviction).
