Brief Narrative: On 7-24-2026 at around 11:47, Tavarius Dixon entered Dicks Sporting goods store, located at 2250 N Webb Road. Tavaruis selected multiple items from the shelf and placed them into a shopping cart. Tavarius then pushed the cart to the entry/exit doors passing all points of sale and fleeing the area with the stolen merchandise. Upon detaining and searching Tavarius for other stolen items, he was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and without the proper prescription bottle for the controlled substance. Tavarius did not have an ID and provided officers with another name and DOB. Tavarius’ true identity was able to be found and it was determined that he had an active warrant for robbery from Colorado. Tavarius was placed under arrest and booked into Hall County Corrections. The total amount stolen from Dicks amounted to $2,241.65

Brief Narrative: On 07/24/2026 Officers witnessed a personal property accident near the intersection of 2nd Street and Madison Street. Officers contacted both drivers and identified them with Nebraska Driver’s License as Edward Beam and Brian Starkey. Both drivers were arrested.

Brief Narrative: On 07/25/2026 at 0943 hours officers made contact with a male who advised he was collecting money for a Hall County Fair raffle on 07/24/2026 and at some point a $5.00 counterfeit bill was exchanged for a ticket.

Brief Narrative: Michelle Mattas was contacted as a suspect in a theft of a vehicle from Ord, Nebraska. Michelle admitted to driving the vehicle to Grand Island before discarding the vehicle before giving the keys to the vehicle to an unknown male. Michelle was arrested for theft by receiving stolen property.

Brief Narrative: On 7-26-26 at around 1459 hrs officers responded to Pump and Pantry located at 2511 Diers Ave N. in Grand Island reference a domestic violence incident. During the investigation, contact was made with the victim who had visible injuries to her arms, neck, legs and head. The victim advised that her boyfriend Yasmani Guada-Cabrera, had punched her multiple times in the head, along with dragging her by her hair down a hallway inside the home. The victim also stated that he choked her in the process of the assault making it hard for her to breath. The female who is 4 months pregnant was able to get away and call 911. Yasmani was located a short time later after fleeing the area and arrested.
