Offense: Terroristic Threats
Victim: 49 yr old male, 46 yr old female, 31 yr old male, GI Daily Independent Incident #: L24111597
Offender: Mohammed Hassan
Date and Time of Incident: 11/20/24 @ 00:00
Location of Incident: 411 W 2nd St
Brief Narrative: On 11/20/2024 around 00:26 officers responded to 411 W 2nd St in reference to a threatening call. Victims reported a Mohammed Hassan entered the building without permission, disturbed their peace and then threatened to kill one of the victims. Mohammed was placed under arrest and booked into Hall County Jail. While being booked into jail Mohammed assaulted an officer with bodily fluid and resisted arrest. Hassan was arrested for Terroristic Threats, Disturbing the Peace, 2nd Degree Trespassing, Assault on Officer with Bodily Fluid and Resisting Arrest.

Location of Incident: S Elm St & W Louise St
Brief Narrative: Officer observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on Louise St and stopped at the stop sign at Elm and Louise. Vehicle then turned on its right turn signal at the stop sign and turned
southbound on Elm St. Traffic stop was conducted at Elm and Louise. A police dog sniffed the vehicle and indicated to the presence of the odor of a controlled substance. A search of the vehicle revealed 3.68 grams of a white crystal substance, which officer recognized to be consistent with methamphetamine. Driver, verbally identified as Layne Van Winkle, also had a digital scale in his
pocket with drug residue on it. Layne was arrested for Fail to Signal, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Controlled Substance.
