Brief Narrative: A male subject was contacted for being involved in an earlier Theft of Service. Male subject was checked for wants and warrants out of Kansas and Nebraska. GIEC advised subject had a warrant out of Neosho-Chanute, Kansas for FTA-Possession of Stolen Property. The warrant was confirmed and male subject was arrested. Offender was booked into custody for the warrant and a local criminal charge.

Brief Narrative: On 09/29/2026 at approximately 0330, Officer observed two motor vehicles engaged in a speed contest, and other moving violations, on a major thoroughfare within the city limits of Grand Island. Officers were able to maintain observation on one vehicle and take the vehicle into custody. The registered owner was later contacted. The investigation is still open and active.
