Location of Incident: W 17th St & N Wheeler Ave
Brief Narrative: On 6/20/2025, Officers observed a vehicle driving reckless eastbound on W 17th St. from Walnut. Officers attempted a traffic stop and the driver would flee in a reckless manner violating numerous traffic laws. The driver was later identified as Jason Lopez Mancia. Officers made contact with Jason at his residence. The vehicle also had fictitious license plates at this time. Jason admitted to fleeing from officers due to having a revoked driver’s license. Jason was arrested for Operate a Motor Vehicle/Avoid Arrest, Driving During Revocation, Fictitious Plates and Traffic Sign/Signal.

Location of Incident: E 20th St & N Oak St
Brief Narrative: On 06/20/2025, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle near 20th and Oak. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed on residential roads and near a school. The vehicle was later located and the driver, Cesar Cabrera, was arrested for Flight to Avoid, No Proof of Insurance, and Driving During Revocation.

Brief Narrative: On 06/21/2025, Officers responded to 817 E 5th St. to receive a report of a vehicle theft. The 2015 Toyota 4-runner was previously located by officers. This investigation is ongoing.

Location of Incident: 520 W 15th St
Brief Narrative: On 06/21/2025, Officers responded to 520 W 15th St in reference to a disturbance. Officers contacted a male with a severe laceration to his arm. Contact was made with the suspect who advised of an argument between the two where a glass bottle was broken causing the laceration. Francisco Vela was arrested for Assault in the First Degree and Use Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony.
