Brief Narrative: Victim came to the police station to report his business was contacted by the offender over social media. The offender requested services to be done to a property in Grand Island and sent two cashier’s checks. The checks were deposited in the bank and a piece of equipment to do the job was purchased. The checks were found to be fakes. Case is open.

Brief Narrative: On 08/02/2025, Officers responded to 2219 W Capital Avenue, referencing a report of a theft. The female victim reported her wallet was inside her backpack in her house and her ex boy friend, Eliazar Gonzalez Lopez, stole her wallet and ran. The wallet cost approximately $20.00.
Eliazar Gonzalez Lopez was later located running between Howard and Custer in the alley way near
Capital. Eliazar was arrested for Theft, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Resisting Arrest, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Obstruct Police
