Offense: Assault
Victim: 70 yr old female, 42 yr old male Incident #: L25081971
Offender: Jason Wojnarski
Date and Time of Incident: 8/18/25 @ 16:54
Location of Incident: 2016 Lawrence Ln
Brief Narrative: On 8-18-2025 at around 1654 hrs, Officers responded to the listed above location reference a panic alarm. While in the area it was found that Jason Wojnarski, had caused a disturbance to the point of scaring the single employee on site. Officers arrived and made contact with Jason and he was removed from the business. While still on scene we were advised that Jason had threatened an adult female at another business on site. Due to the adult female that was being
threatened wanting to be a victim of the threats, Jason was placed under arrest. While walking Jason
outside in handcuffs, Jason started to use his body and push and resist the officer. While resisting and pushing against the officer, Jason then headbutted the officer in the face causing injury. Jason was later transported to Hall County Corrections and booked in for Assault on an Officer, Assault Menacing Threats and Resisting Arrest.

Victim: 34 yr old male, 52 yr old female, 33 yr old female Incident #: L25081984
Offender: Frank Gener Lao
Date and Time of Incident: 8/18/25 @ 20:00
Location of Incident: 1316 W 4th St
Brief Narrative: On 08/18/2025 at approximately 2100 hours, Officers responded to 1316 W 4th St regarding a threatening call. Officers contacted one adult male and two adult females who reported Frank Gener Lao was threatening them via phone. Officers’ investigation determined Frank was making terroristic threats via phone. Frank was contacted at his residence and was arrested for
Terroristic threats and Intimidation by Phone call.

Victim: Smoker Friendly Incident #: L25081946
Date and Time of Incident: between 8/16/25 & 8/18/25
Location of Incident: 710 N Diers
Brief Narrative: On 8-18-2025 at around 12:37 am, officer responded to the listed above location reference a forgery. During the investigation it was found that an adult male had used a fake $100.00 bill to purchase alcohol. At this time the investigation is ongoing.

Location of Incident: 2205 E Hwy 30
Brief Narrative: On 8/18/25 officers responded to 2205 E US Hwy 30, Y & M Trucking, regarding a stolen vehicle call for service. It was reported that an employee had parked his personal vehicle, a white 2021 Hyundai Palisade, in the employee lot around 0200 hours for work. At 0500 hours, another employee discovered a bicycle near the area where the employee parked his car.

Brief Narrative: On 08/18/2025, officers responded to 204 S Cedar St, St. Mary's Cathedral, reference a forgery call for service. The reporting party advised that an unknown male entered the thrift store and attempted to purchase items with a fake $50 bill.
