Offense: Wanted Person
Victim: Incident #: L25011976
Offender: Alejandro Loforte Escalona
Date and Time of Incident: 1/23/25 @ 18:26
Location of Incident: 1818 W 15th St
Brief Narrative: On 01/23/2025 around 1855 hrs, an officer responded to a parking problem on the 1800 block of 15th St. Alejandro Loforte Escalona was contacted in a garage which he locked himself inside. Alejandro refused to comply with multiple commands to come out while being informed he had active warrants and was under arrest. Alejandro eventually surrendered and was placed under arrest. A check of Alejandro's record came back with a prior conviction for resisting arrest (10/21/2022). Alejandro was transported to HCDC and booked in for three active Hall County Warrants, Resisting Arrest 2nd Offense, and Obstruct a Police Officer.

Victim: 4 yr old female Incident #: L25011907
Date and Time of Incident: between 1/12/25 & 1/23/25
Location of Incident: Within City Limits
Brief Narrative: On 1/23/2025 it was reported that a 4-year-old child was subjected to sexual contact
by an adult male. Case is under investigation.

Offense: Burglary
Victim: 30 yr old male Incident #: L25011973
Date and Time of Incident: 1/23/25 @ 14:30
Location of Incident: 408 E 2nd S; Apt 2
Brief Narrative: On 01/23/25 Officers responded to 408 E 2nd St. Apt 2 reference a civil dispute.
Officers contacted the reporting party who advised he was having an issue with his ex-girlfriend and
wanted her to leave. Later the reporting party advised he was missing $1,500 worth of shoes. Case is open.

Offense: Fraud
Victim: Cornerstone Bank Incident #: L25011964
Date and Time of Incident: 1/23/25 @ 15:32
Location of Incident: 840 N Diers Ave
Brief Narrative: An employee of Cornerstone Bank reported a fraud via floating funds and check kiting. Cornerstone Bank advised that two potential males deposited $5,000 into a bank in Grand Island and utilized several other ATMs in Grand Island to withdraw funds. Case is under investigation.

Offense: Gun Shots
Victim: Incident #: L25011977
Date and Time of Incident: 1/23/25 @ 19:05
Location of Incident: US Hwy 281 N & State St
Brief Narrative: Officers responded to the area of Highway 281 and State Street reference multiple gunshots coming from two vehicles that were side by side while northbound on Highway 281. The reporting party observed one occupant of a vehicle point a firearm out the window and fire gunshots towards the vehicle that was next to it. These vehicles have not been located at the time of the report. This case is currently under investigation.
