GICC Football Opens Season With 41-6 Victory Over Hershey

(Grand Island, NE) - The GICC football team would open up the 2026 season on Friday night at Grand Island's Memorial Stadium, defeating the Hershey Panthers by a final score of 41-6. 

GICC (1-0) will be back in action on Friday, September 4th, traveling to H&H, which is the new co-op for sports between Hampton and Henderson. 

The Pump and Pantry Pregame Show will start at 6:30 pm with kickoff at 7:00 pm on 99.7 Jett FM. 

H&H comes in with a record of 1-0 after a Week 1 win over Schuyler, 43-0.
