GICC Football Rolls Mitchell, Now 4-0

(Grand Island, NE) - The GICC football team would move to 4-0 on the season Friday night with a 51-7 win over the Mitchell Tigers. 

GICC would hold a 14-7 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Crusaders would explode for 27 second-quarter points to race to a 41-7 lead at the halftime break. 

The GICC defense in the first four weeks of the season has only given up 19 total points. 

Central Catholic will now get set to take on the Wood River Eagles (0-4) next Friday night. Wood River lost on Friday night at Hershey 30-0. Listen live starting with the Pump & Pantry Pregame Show at 6:30 pm on 99.7 JettFM.
