GICC Girls Golf Finishes 5th At State

(North Platte, NE) - The Grand Island Central Catholic girls golf team finished in 5th place at the Class C state golf meet at Lake Maloney golf course in North Platte on Tuesday.
Kenzie Clausen finished in 9th place overall, along with Molly Kenna placing 12th in the individual standings. Other participants at the state meet for the Crusaders included Reegan Reilly, Lily Alberts, Juliann Morgan, and Sofia Crumrine.
Minden won the team title, finishing in 1st place. Scotus 2nd, West Holt 3rd, and Adams Central finished in 4th. KayLynn Jorgensen from Minden was the overall individual champion.
