GICC Girls Win Again

The Grand Island Central Catholic Girls shot over 60 percent from the field in the first half to build an 18 point lead and went on to a 52-35 win over Aurora. The Crusaders trailed briefly in the first quarter but put together a 12-0 run wrapped around the first quarter break to take command. Four players hit double figures for GICC. Kevin Mayfield talked about the game on AM 1430 KRGI/105.5FM. The Crusaders visit Lexington Friday. The girl/boy double header will be on KRGI.
