GICC SB Opens Season Thursday

The Crusader softball team will be at Columbus Lakeview to open the season on Thursday. The cooperative team between GICC, Doniphan-Trumbull, Wood River, and GI Lutheran features 16 players. Sophomores Emily Price and Kendall Posey split time in the center circle last year.

Eva Tibbetts (453), and Jocelynn Price (439) led the Crusaders at the plate. Ava Delgado and Addy Bishop also started on last year's 13-13 team.  

GICC tied Centura-Central Valley 7-7 in the jamboree game Monday.

Thursday's game will be aired on 99.7 JETT-FM. Pregame is scheduled for 6:15, but could begin earlier. There will be just three innings of JV competition.
