GIFD Recognizes Thomas, Kuehl & New Members

(Grand Island, NE) - It was a busy Tuesday for the Grand Island Fire Department when it came to recognizing a long-term member of the department, a promotion, and new members.
Phil Thomas has been promoted to Prevention Division Chief. GIFD also welcomed Firefighter/Paramedic Dalton Chastain and Firefighter/EMTs Kyler Kaping, Corey Lews, and Carson Munster to the department.
The Grand Island City Council also awarded Battalion Chief Scott Kuehl for serving the city for 30 years, as Kuehl was presented with a certificate at the Tuesday night city council meeting.
