GISH Baseball Wins HAC Quarterfinal Game

(Lincoln, NE) - The Grand Island Senior High baseball team defeated Norfolk 10-2 on Tuesday afternoon in a quarter-final game part of the Heartland Athletic Conference baseball tournament.
Grand Island would get 10 runs on 14 hits and have 2 errors in the game. Norfolk would have 2 runs, 4 hits, and 1 error in the game. Gage Gannon would lead the Islanders with 3 hits and 1 RBI. Dinkelman, Arends, and Ruiz would each have two hits.
Miles Nelson would go 2 2/3 on the mound as the starting pitcher, giving up 2 hits, 2 runs, 5 walks, and would have 4 strikeouts. Carson Rust would come in for 4 1/3 innings of relief. Giving up 2 hits, 2 walks, and 1 strikeout.
