Goodwill Makes New Grand Island Location Offical

(Grand Island, NE) - It's a brand new location for Goodwill Industries of Grand Island as the move was made official in a ribbon cutting on Friday morning. Goodwill moved from its Webb Road location, which is now closed, to the old Office Max building between Walmart and Menards at 2130 Diers Avenue.
"This was an opportunity to grow our retail footprint and help generate some additional revenue to help push over to help our mission programs," said Curtiss Dill, CEO of Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska.
The new location will feature not only more space for shopping, but also provide a larger area for handling and sorting in the back of the store after donations are made from the north side drive-through drop-off spot. Configuration construction began in December. The move, happening at the end of March, took about two weeks to set up the new location after leaving the Webb Road spot.
