Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity Welcomes Jennifer Figueroa as Outreach Coordinator 

GRAND ISLAND, NE – Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity is pleased to welcome Jennifer Figueroa as its new Outreach Coordinator. 

Figueroa brings more than six years of nonprofit marketing, communications, fundraising and community outreach experience to the organization. In her new role, she will lead Habitat’s outreach and communications efforts, including marketing, public relations, social media, donor and community engagement, and event promotion. 

Figueroa earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in advertising and public relations from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, along with minors in communication studies and Spanish. 

As Outreach Coordinator, Figueroa will help increase awareness of Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity’s work and opportunities for the community to get involved in its mission of building homes, communities, and hope.
