Grand Island Baseball Takes Two Vs North Platte
(Grand Island, NE) - Coming off the Heartland Athletic Conference tournament runner-up finish on Thursday in Lincoln, the Grand Island baseball team turned around and played a doubleheader vs North Platte at Ryder Park on Friday. The Islanders raced past the Bulldogs in game one 22-0. GI then claimed game two with a final score of 7-2. Grand Island now 12-5 on the season goes 4-1 on the week and will be back in action on Tuesday, April 16th hosting Lincoln Northstar (7-9). After Tuesday GI will then host Lincoln Pius X on Wednesday, April 17th.
