Grand Island Downs Southeast In HAC Quarters

(Lincoln, NE) - The Grand Island Senior High baseball team picked up a 5-2 win on Wednesday afternoon against Lincoln Southeast in the quarter-final round of the Heartland Athletic Conference tournament. GI would get an impressive performance on the mound from Dyllan Hinrichs as he would throw a complete game going seven innings only giving up two runs and one hit. Grand Island will take on Lincoln Southwest at 3:00 pm today, (Thursday, April 11th). Listen live on KRGI 1430/105.5 & krgi.com. If Grand Island wins, the Islanders will turn around and play again in the HAC Championship game.
