Hall County Agricultural Committee to Host “Feed the Farmers” Events

(Grand Island, NE) – The Hall County Agricultural Committee will host two “Feed the Farmers” events this week to show appreciation for the hard-working producers who help feed the world.
The first event will take place Monday, October 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Aurora Cooperative Grand Island Terminal. The second event will be held Thursday, October 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Green Plains Ethanol Plant in Wood River.
At each location, committee members will hand out boxed lunches to farmers hauling grain and send additional meals back to those working in the field.
“This is one small way for our committee to say thank you to the farmers who keep our communities strong and our world fed,” said Annette Schimmer, member of the Hall County Agricultural Committee.
The Hall County Agricultural Committee extends sincere appreciation to Aurora Cooperative and Green Plains for their partnership and support in hosting these events.
