Hall County Courthouse Project Reaches New Heights with Final Beam Ceremony
GRAND ISLAND - The final beam on the Hall County Courthouse extension was set into place Monday, marking a major milestone in the ongoing construction project. A ceremony in Grand Island was held to celebrate the achievement.
Hall County Judge Alfred Corey called the moment an exciting step forward for the courthouse and the community.
Several local leaders and project officials spoke during the event, including Hall County Facilities Director Loren Humphrey, Chief Construction Project Manager Kyle Huse, and Hall County Board Chairman Ron Peterson.
As part of the ceremony, the beam was signed by dignitaries from both the construction team and Hall County, a traditional gesture symbolizing progress and collaboration.
The courthouse expansion project is expected to be completed in spring 2028.
