Hall County Sheriff's Department Reports Grant Results

NDOT Highway Safety Office awarded the Hall County Sheriff's Office with funding to carry out a Selective Overtime Enforcement for the Speeding Prevention campaign from July 12th - July 31st 2024. This enforcement was designed to help to reduce fatal and serious speeding related injury crashes in Nebraska. The grant was for overtime wages of $11,530.61.
Seven Deputies worked 190 hours of selective enforcement and cited 83 drivers for speeding while issuing 187 warnings for speeding. 375 contacts were made overall during this time.
