Heat Advisory in Effect Again

A Heat Advisory is in effect from noon to 8pm today for central and southeastern portions of the area. Heat index values up to 108 degrees are possible. The warmest temperatures will be south of Interstate 80, with highs in the mid 90s to around 100 degrees.

Severe thunderstorms are possible during the evening to overnight hours as a line of storms moves through the area. Damaging wind gusts (60-70mph), large hail (quarter sized) and locally heavy rainfall are possible with these storms.
