Heater Signs With Concordia For Baseball

St. Paul Senior Braxton Heater is taking his Baseball talents to the next level as he signed his Letter of Intent to play College Baseball at Concordia University. Heater moved to St. Paul his Eighth Grade year from Western Nebraska with High School Baseball on the brain.

Heater has become a reliable two-way player for both the St. Paul/Palmer Cats and St. Paul Legion Post 119 Baseball. Heater will head to the Bulldogs as a Pitcher after conversations with the Coaching Staff. Heater has not pitched this season due to shoulder surgery over the Summer but is healthy enough to bat and primarily play First Base for St. Paul/Palmer. 

Heater currently leads the team with 2 Home Runs both Grand Slams on the season hitting those in Beaver Crossing vs Centennial and the last coming on Senior Night vs Aurora at Grover Cleveland Alexander Field in St. Paul.

Heater is currently batting .318 heading into the postseason with 21 hits, leading the team in RBIs at 22 with 14 runs scored on the Season. Heater is an ambidextrous baseball player throwing with his right hand but bats left handed. He plans to major in Exercise Science.
