HL Girls Earn Best GRC Finish Ever

The Heartland Lutheran Girls finished third place in the Goldenrod Conference basketball tourney for the first time in school history. The Red Hornets won a see saw battle with Central Valley 46-44 in Greeley on Saturday. The game had eight lead changes and five ties. Abigail Uden scored 14. Ema Koch put in 12 for the Red Hornets.

A new brand but the same result in the title game as Archangels Catholic downed Nebraska Christian 56-31 for the girls title. The former Humphrey St. Francis won for the eighth consecutive year and beat the Eagles for the 4th consecutive time in the tile contest.
